How To Join The Trip
There are several options to get to the Manitoulin Hotel and Conference Centre on Manitoulin Island. Please note there is no air service, train service, or bus service to the island or on the island therefore we strongly recommend the rental of a vehicle for your stay on the island. Fly into Sudbury and rent a vehicle and drive 2 hours. OR Fly into Toronto, rent a vehicle and drive 6 hours on scenic highways to the island in Little Current via a historic swing bridge that opens every hour on the hour to allow for boat traffic. Alternatively you can drive 3.5 hours to Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula from Toronto and catch the ChiCheemaun Ferry Service to South Baymouth. The ChiCheemaun Ferry carries vehicles and passengers and sails 4 times per day during the summer season and 2 times daily during the off season.
This package is available from May and September. Other First Nations adventures such as a canoe heritage tour, crafts, drumming, horseback and teepee adventure, etc. are also available.
NOTE: prices may vary based on exchange rate.
